Do You Believe in Miracles?

Hello everyone and happy Friday! Today I want to discuss the influence of God in our lives and invite you to share a supernatural or miraculous event that you've personally experienced. With everything that's going on in the world, it's hard to see the hand of God at play. Sometimes it feels like there's no rhyme or reason to anything... Why do bad things happen to good people? Why would God allow an innocent child to die from a terminal disease while evil roams the streets? What is God trying to show us through all of these random, and sometimes, evil acts? I wish I had an answer, and I wish the reason behind things was clearer. It's in these times that we look to the strong and the faithful to give us courage and hope. When I visited Rome some years back I saw many things that would be considered miraculous. I saw the perfectly preserved bodies of saints, heard a lot of stories about how God chose to preserve just the tongue of St. Anthony (patron saint of lost things) and the hand of St. Francis Xavier which is on display in the church of Gesu in Rome, Italy. I thought that visiting Rome and seeing the relics and incorrupt bodies of saints would deepen my faith, but it only made me more skeptical. I hope to someday witness a miracle, and though I've had times in my life where I've felt close to God, I have yet to witness a miracle with my own eyes. Have you experienced God in your life, or witnessed a miracle? Please share your story!
