Words and Thoughts are Important: Break the Cycle of Negativity in Your Life.

We all have an inner dialogue with ourselves that can either pull us down or propel us forward. I've noticed, especially working with women in the salon, that we use language that is detrimental and harmful to how we see ourselves. Some of the most common things I hear my coworkers, clients, and people in general, say about themselves are: I'm so stupid, what's wrong with me, I'm broken, I'm fat, I'm ugly, I'm not good enough, why does this keep happening to me... I could go on and on with the things that we tell ourselves on a daily basis. These thoughts are harmful and keep us from achieving the life we want. They keep us from achieving success, happiness and reaching our full potential. Our thoughts tell us who we are by painting a picture of how we see ourselves. If we think we're stupid, ugly and broken we will become that. We need to BREAK THE CYCLE of how we think and feel about ourselves. I want to include a CHALLENGE for you today! Close your eyes and visualize where you are in your life right now and where you want to be. Identify the obstacles that are keeping you from achieving where you want to be in life. It's important to identify the obstacles, so you know what you need to push aside to get where you want to be. Accepting the truth of where you are is the first step toward change. Next I want you to look above and beyond those obstacles by accepting where you are in life and addressing what changes need to be made to achieve the vision you want. 1. Know where you are 2.
