With the current economic challenges, a lot of us are trying to find a way to keep some normalcy in our lives. It can be difficult to find the appropriate head space for productivity while working from home, but you have to admit that it has some benefits. Some of the benefits being: no traffic, no waiting in line for your morning coffee, the luxury of wearing pajamas and sitting in your favorite lazy boy while you crunch numbers and, of course, spontaneous happy hour during your daily zoom meeting. I had the opportunity in my last job to both work from home and work on site. I had a great schedule where I worked on site every-other-week and on my weeks at home I would take the opportunity to learn a new skill, exercise and write. It was a perfect balance for me as I had extra time to invest in myself and spend extra time with family. I was laid off a month ago and am trying to take advantage of this opportunity to shift my focus and create a stronger foundation in which to build and create a more fulfilling future for myself. I am filling out paperwork today for a Part Time job, which is one of the reasons this topic is on my mind. I'm excited for the opportunity to get out of the house for a bit, while also having time to focus on my needs and continue to invest in myself. How have you been coping while working from home? What are the challenges you're facing and what are the benefits? If you could work from home indefinitely would you do it?

I would also like to hear from those of you who have been struggling with losing your job, trying to secure unemployment or working overtime during the pandemic. Whatever is on your mind... please comment below!
